About Joseph Reynolds

Joe is an Assistant Vice President in the National Environmental and Construction Professional Liability Practice with over 15 years of related broking and underwriting experience. In the Practice, Joe uses his diverse technical expertise and service oriented approach to provide optimal solutions for our retail partners.

Joe has extensive experience with Architect's & Engineers (A&E), Contractors Professional (CPrL) Liability - including Protective Indemnity and Rectification, Project Specific Professional Liability (PSPL) and Real Estate Developers Errors and Omissions (E&O) programs for project owners, contractors and developers. Joe also has a deep background in a variety of management and professional liability products including Directors & Officers Liability (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Fiduciary Liability, Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Commercial Crime, Cyber Risk and Identity Fraud insurance.

Prior to joining the Practice, Joe was Vice President of the Hiscox Architects & Engineers line of business where he expanded and refined their market presence in A&E, CPrL and Real Estate Developers E&O. When he left Hiscox, the program was the largest wholesale only A&E portfolio in the United States. Previously, Joe was Executive Underwriter at XL Catlin's Design Professional division and was responsible for a complete product overhaul and the creation of customized EPL and Cyber Risk products and services for design professionals. In addition, he has deep underwriting and product strategy experience, spending extensive time at Travelers Insurance serving in roles as diverse as head of Identity Fraud Insurance to consulting on management liability product development across Traveler's commercial lines businesses. His customers have included ENR 500 design firms and Top 5 financial institutions as well as small and mid-size commercial entities and community banks.

Joe has a B.A. in Political Science from Trinity College and a Juris Doctorate from the Quinnipiac University School of Law. He is working towards his Construction Risk Insurance Specialist designation (CRIS).
